Cameron Holland is a filmmaker and photographer based in Los Angeles. Born and raised in San Diego, California, he first picked up a camera at age 11 after receiving Zero Skateboards' iconic Misled Youth on VHS as a birthday gift from his stepsister. Inspired to create his own skate videos, Cameron immediately began filming his friends with his mother's home video camera, sparking a lifelong passion for visual storytelling.
That early obsession evolved into a career built on curiosity, authenticity, and an instinct for finding compelling moments. After working his way up to a staff videographer position at TransWorld Skateboarding in San Diego, Cameron relocated to Los Angeles, where he has spent the past decade directing, shooting, and traveling extensively for projects across the U.S. and internationally.
His skateboarding background continues to shape the way he sees the world. He approaches stories the same way he searches for skate spots—always looking beyond the obvious, discovering beauty in overlooked places, and uncovering the character that exists in everyday life. Whether working on documentaries, commercials, branded content, or narrative pieces, Cameron strives to capture moments that feel honest, cinematic, and emotionally grounded.
His work draws influence from documentary filmmaking, fashion photography, surrealism, and classic skate videos, as well as the visual language of Harmony Korine, William Eggleston, and Wes Anderson.
